this is actually a lot deeper than it sounds, tho. like i know there are 1000 and 1 memes about shuri and wakanda’s tech being more advanced than tony’s, that tony’s tech seems like a dinosaur, but tony had an element to his tech that they did not: a fast thinker, futurist, with something so simple as nanotech that is linked to do as he wishes. it wasn’t some ridiculously futuristic and advanced piece of technology, all he had to do was command his nanotech to not only steal the stones, but create a gauntlet with them, and boom. that was it. that was his greatest invention that saved the fate of the entire universe.

the missing piece to anyone else’s tech is tony’s mind. tony is always in action, always thinking on his feet, finding solutions. 

no one else could have done what he did. no one.
